This is the fourth and last of CNBC series for the year of 2006, focusing on the future of energy around the world, reporting from Singapore, Shanghai and The Hague and Sakhalin.
 
In Doha CNBC discussed the future of Qatar as an energy hub, the development of LNG and other fuels and how energy will help build and develop the country’s economy.
